Aftercare Instructions for Cosmetic Paramedical and SMP Tattoo

EYEBROW TATTOO AFTERCARE
Proper aftercare is crucial for optimal healing and long-lasting results.
  • Keep brows dry for 7 days. Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, and steam.
  • Gently clean twice daily with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry.
  • Apply a thin layer of the provided ointment with clean hands or a cotton swab. Do not overapply.
  • Do not wear makeup, apply skincare, or use sunscreen on the brows for 7 days.
  • Do not scrub, scratch, or pick at scabs. Let them flake off naturally.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds during healing. Wear a hat if outside.
  • Brows will darken at first, then lighten during healing. Scabbing is normal.
  • A touch-up is usually needed 6–8 weeks after your first session.
LIP TATTOO AFTERCARE
Lips are delicate and require gentle care to heal properly.
  • Keep lips moisturised with ointment (e.g. Aquaphor) several times a day.
  • Blot gently with a clean tissue every few hours on day 1 to remove fluid.
  • Rinse lips gently with water after eating, pat dry, and reapply ointment.
  • Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods. Drink with a straw for the first 3 days.
  • Do not lick, bite, or peel your lips.
  • No makeup on lips for 7 days. Avoid kissing and touching your lips.
  • Keep lips dry and avoid swimming or excessive moisture for 7 days.
  • Flaking starts around day 3–6. Let skin come off naturally.
  • Apply SPF on healed lips to prevent colour fading.
  • Touch-up is typically done after 6–8 weeks.
EYELINER TATTOO AFTERCARE
Eye area is sensitive—follow aftercare instructions carefully.
  • Gently blot the area with water wipes for the first few hours to remove fluid.
  • After 4 hours, wash the area with lukewarm water—no rubbing or soap.
  • Do not get the area wet beyond light cleansing for 7 days. No steam, sweat, or swimming.
  • Do not wear eye makeup or use contact lenses for 72 hours.
  • Do not pick or rub the area. Allow any flaking to occur naturally.
  • Mild swelling, redness, and tightness are normal for a few days.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds. Wear sunglasses outdoors.
  • Touch-up is recommended 6–8 weeks after initial session.

PARAMEDICAL AREOLA TATTOO AFTERCARE
To ensure proper healing and pigment retention, follow these instructions closely.
Days 1–3: Tegaderm™ Dressing
  • Leave dressing on for 3 full days. It is waterproof, so you can shower as usual.

  • Do not touch or pick at the dressing.
Day 4: Remove Dressing & Begin Gentle Care
  • Carefully remove the dressing in the shower.
  • Gently cleanse with warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap. Do not scrub.
  • Pat dry with a clean towel—no rubbing.
Moisturizing (Day 4 onward):
  • Apply a small amount of non-scented lotion (Lubriderm, Aveeno, Eucerin) once or twice daily.
  • Do not over-moisturise—just enough to keep the area hydrated.
General Guidelines (Days 4–14):
  • Wear loose, soft clothing or a supportive bra to prevent friction.
  • Avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, saunas, swimming, or high-impact exercise.
  • Do not scratch, pick, or peel any flaking or scabbing.
  • Continue moisturizing daily until healing is complete.
